This team came together over the spring.  Our boys were all 2003 players playing in their first year of Midget Major, and were looking for a great experience, as for many of them, it will be their last year of youth hockey.  The core group of 9 or 10 players had played with or against each other since mites on teams like the Cyclones, Avalanche, Top Gun, Monarchs, Granite State Selects, and NH Knights.  We filled out the team with other kids we knew, with the emphasis on good kids and good families.

As we all know, this has been a tough year, with lots of difficulties.  This team showed patience and perseverance through it all, and it paid off.

The team was able to play consistently throughout the year, and earned their way to a 22-0 record.  Which was not easy, there were a number of very close games, some tough competition, and a few times where they battled back late in the third to secure the win.  They showed a lot of character in some tough games.

We are looking forward to Nationals, and representing NHAHA and the Northern Cyclones as best we can, and the team is confident that they can make some noise.
